COVID-19 Advice

The Beehive Project Statement on COVID 19

From the outset of the pandemic we have worked together to agree the following strategic aims:

  • We will continue to provide support for all our young people living within our project.
  • We will continue to pay our staff and provide staff with the appropriate safety equipment to protect them.
  • We will ensure all regulations set out by the government are adhered to in line with providing services to vulnerable young people.

Our greatest challenges are continuing to ensure we have enough staff that can continue to provide a high quality of support to our young people. We want to ensure that our young people remain fully supported and have taken into consideration the affect that these restrictions will have on their lives.

Over the last few months, we have worked tirelessly to ensure that all our services remain open to new and existing young people and continue to do so.

All of our staff have been amazing at working through the pandemic and have been adaptive in responding to changes that have been necessary and to ensure the safety of themselves and our young people.

We recognise as an organisation that the restrictions in place will have an emotional impact on our young people and staff. Our capacity to engage young people has been challenging and we have had to be creative in overcoming this, considering other ways of supporting our young people so they do not become isolated and disengaged.

The managing directors continue to closely follow the latest advice from the Government, and we are implementing changes as new advice is given.

The managing directors are extremely appreciative of the outstanding work our staff have provided in supporting our young people ensuring that all their needs continue to be met, a heartfelt thanks goes out to our amazing team.

To all our local authority partners, social workers and personal advisors that we have come to see as our friends at The Beehive Project in providing support to our young people, please stay safe, look after yourselves and thank you for continuing to support us to support your young people that are living within The Beehive Project.

STAY ALERT, CONTROL THE VIRUS, SAVE LIVES.

The Beehive Project is regulated for Domicilliary Care under the Care Quality Commission as of September 2022.
